Meet The Team

I have found that giving of myself, my gifts, my time, my talents, is what I am here to do. The meaning of my life starts with giving myself to others. It’s there, in that space of love and sacrifice that I have found incredible abundance.
All the touchy feely stuff aside, (I’m not a hippy I swear!) I have spent over 18 years being a real estate agent. In today’s hectic marketplace being someone who has the experience, commitment, and know-how will help you navigate the world of real estate.
The art of orchestrating a transaction is what I enjoy about the profession most. There are also times during the lifecycle of a transaction when it stalls or hits the wall. I have a knack for creating solutions in these situations. Perhaps more importantly, I never let emotions or my ego get in the way.
I also specialize in the creative aspects behind inexpensive transformations that can, in many cases, trigger higher selling prices for listings. I posses a unique ability to manage full scale property renovations and have a good eye for design, placement of furniture, and art.
Graduating from the University of Oregon with honors in English and Creative Writing helps with the contracts: a little “creative writing” never hurts! I was born in Santa Rosa, CA and moved to Oregon at a very young age, but went to high school in Oregon, California and Washington. I did a brief stint in the Bay Area after high school and am now finding that the people I met at house parties in the early 90’s are moving up here now. Go figure!
Outside of work I try to enjoy all that Oregon has to offer: surfing, snowboarding, skating, you name it. I have traveled all over the globe and can honestly say this is my favorite place on earth. I still need to get that snowboarding/Onsen trip to Japan in though. Oh and maybe a sabbatical in New Zealand & Australia. We will see…
Last but not least spending time with my darling daughter Celine is my greatest joy. You may see us biking around PDX or running around on a beach on the Oregon Coast.

I grew up in SW Portland, which is pretty different from how the city's portrayal in Portlandia and how it's known. After college in Eugene, I dove head first into the inner sections of the city and worked in the Pearl for a Real Estate company as their marketing coordinator. While doing so, I was told numerous times by all the agents there that I would make a really good broker. So lo and behold, I got licensed and have been slinging homes since.
I got into it with great intentions. I really wanted to help my friends who were also born and raised here to set their roots back within the city. You know, keep Portland weird! The longer I've been in the business, that focus has changed a bit. I still definitely focus on working with first time home buyers, however I'm realizing not everyone wants to stay in the city they were born in. I've seen friends leave, and I've made new friends who've come in from different areas of the country.
I'm probably not the most well rounded individual. A lot of my time is spent in Real Estate. I try and balance that out by spending time with friends, family and my dog. While with them I love enjoying good food and good beer, which is easy to find around Portland. I'm also an avid sports fan (Go Blazers and Ducks).

Jenny owns a house in the Powellhurst – Gilbert neighborhood, and it was the experience of searching for and finding her 1930 faux-Tudor that piqued her interest in the real estate field. Her sparkling personality and attention to every detail of the sometimes-daunting home buying process will help you at each step in your journey to find the perfect home.
When Jenny’s not scouring the local real estate market for great deals and interesting architectural details, she enjoys spending time battling weeds in her yard, ably assisted by her two cats – Chili and Mr. Orange – and a giant African spurred tortoise named Harold. She is also active in the Portland music scene and has played with her band Jenny Don’t and the Spurs at nearly every venue in Portland from the seediest dive bars to the fanciest concert halls, as well as having toured extensively all over the US and throughout more than a dozen European countries.
