Where it sits
Brentwood-Darlington covers the bottom corner of Southeast Portland, bordered by SE 52nd Ave to the west, SE 82nd Ave to the east, SE Duke St to the north, and Clatsop St/Portland city limits to the south. Johnson Creek forms much of its southern edge.
The Neighborhood
Brentwood-Darlington is mostly single-family homes from the 1940s–1970s, larger lots, a few bungalows, some ranches, plenty of ADUs, and newer infill along quieter side streets. Mobile homes and small multi-family buildings are also common, giving a patchwork feel.
There’s no big main street, but local businesses cluster along SE Woodstock Blvd, SE 72nd Ave, and SE Flavel St. The area favors backyard gardens, urban farming, and block-by-block walkability with a residential, unpretentious atmosphere and easy access to green space.
